We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in CDNT 2 Ballyboden and CDNT 7 Tymon CHO7. We are open to recruiting either: One full-time Senior Occupational Therapist (1 WTE) who would split their time between CDNT 2 and CDNT 7, or Two part-time Senior Occupational Therapists (0.5 WTE each), with each therapist being dedicated to one team (CDNT 2 or CDNT 7). Contract Type: Permanent. Contract Hours: 0.5 wte (17.5 hrs) allocated to each CDNT or 35 hrs Salary Scale: €59,662-€70,624 per annum pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI's (Long Service Increments) This pay scale is subject to increases in 2025 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations. Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 days pro rata per annum and proportionately less for less than 12 months service. Overview of the Post: Enable Ireland delivers children's services through the Children's Disability Network Teams (CDNT) under the national Progressing Disabilities Services (PDS) model for children and young people with complex needs arising from a disability. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a range of Occupational Therapy services for young people (0 - 18 years) and their families within an interdisciplinary framework. Service will include assessment and intervention, clinical supervision and ongoing service development. This will be delivered through a family centred approach across a variety of settings including the clinic, preschools, schools, children's homes and community settings. Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU ( And ii. Have three years full time (or an aggregrate of three years) post qualification clinical experience And iii. Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office And iv. Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued Annual Registration i. On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU And ii. Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to the Enable Ireland Minimum of 1 year post qualification experience of working with children with a range of disabilities / developmental delay and their families. Experience in conducting Assessment of Need. Experience of working with children aged 0 - 18 years and their families. Relevant current experience prescribing and monitoring equipment based on children's' needs Full driving License with access to own transport Applicants must be eligible to work in the state. Experience of supervising basic grade occupational therapists and/or students. 2 or more years working in paediatric services with children with a variety of disabilities and/or complex needs.
