For almost 30 years, Barleyhill has been a trusted name in childcare, providing high-quality early education in a warm, supportive setting with an exceptional natural outdoor space.
We are now seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our team.
Responsibilities
Create a safe, inclusive, happy, and developmentally appropriate environment that supports the wellbeing of children.
Plan and deliver engaging, child centred activities and learning experiences in line with the Aistear and Síolta frameworks.
Observe, record, and reflect on each child's development progress.
Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
Communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
Follow all relevant policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively as part of a committed and supportive team.
Qualifications
Minimum of FETAC/QQI Level 5 in Childcare (or equivalent) is essential.
Strong knowledge of Aistear and Síolta frameworks.
Excellent communication skills, with fluent English.
Previous experience in a childcare setting (1 year min preferred)
