Glenbrier Construction has established itself as a leading player in the construction sector in Ireland offering turnkey developments across the commercial, residential and industrial sector.We pride ourselves in our work and have delivered some of the most iconic landmark buildings in Ireland to market.We offer a full suite of construction services from 'Design and Build' projects, traditional builds to tasteful restorations.We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team to manage our core accounting operations such as accounts payables, payroll as well as supporting month end & quarter end reporting.The successful candidate will be expected to ensure effective day to day execution of the function whilst supporting with scaling it in line with growth of the business.Key Responsibilities:Accounts Payable involving the processing and payment of high volumes of supplier Invoicing & Statements.Reconciliation of Invoices against PO's & Payment CertsEnsure compliance with PRSI, PAYE, VAT, and RCT requirements, incl.management of expenses for wage rollProcessing of Weekly & Monthly wages inhouseNecessary Bank ReconciliationsPreparation of the month end & quarterly processesManaging Supplier related contactsSupport project-related administrative tasks, such as tracking project expenses & reporting.Maintain accurate records of all expensesIdentify & implement any necessary process improvements of accounting operations functionsSupport the implementation of business process simplifications if required.Other ad hoc tasks that will arise from time to timeSkills Required:Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar)Minimum 5 years' + experience in a busy office environment having dealt with high volumes of accounts payable transactionsAbility to communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholdersDemonstrable experience in payroll processingExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsExperience in managing change, implementing new procedures and re-engineering processes.Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative.Strong computer skills including Word, Excel & Accounting software.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Bike to work schemeLicence/Certification:ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Similar Certification (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
