Join to apply for theProcurement Managerrole atHovioneHovione is an independent family-owned international group of companies dedicated to helping pharmaceutical customers bring new and off-patent drugs to market.With over **** team members across 36 nationalities and 4 production sites, Hovione is a leader in innovation and excellence.ResponsibilitiesEnsure thorough MRP management, review and execution of purchase requisitions and purchase orders, vendor scheduling, inventory reporting and positioning.Manage assigned purchasing categories, including category analysis, creation of schedule agreements, PO conversion, and management of vendor queries.Responsible for developing and maintaining best practice systems and procedures, coordinating and efficiently operating relevant aspects of the site's supply chain processes in line with corporate guidelines and best material management/ procurement practices.Coordinate the team members assigned to the area of responsibility, namely in terms of recruitment, integration, training needs and performance management in accordance with the company's HR policies.Ensure other departments are sufficiently trained on purchasing guidelines and SAP/MASQ approval process.Work closely with other supply chain personnel and other key departments across the Group to ensure high levels of customer service.Liaise with internal customers to prepare weekly and annual purchasing and shipping schedules and ensure that targets are met.Monitor production plans/performance weekly and realign to ensure that the purchasing strategy fully supports both production and project targets.Develop and report on KPI's for cost savings and continuous improvement where relevant.Manage and rightsized the relevant suppliers' base to achieve the objectives of the Purchasing business plan in terms of financial performance, supplier quality, supply chain efficiency, security and sustainability.Support the purchasing daily activities for all relevant Hovione sites to accomplish the company's objectives.Implement at an operational level the defined Purchasing business plan.RequirementsTypically requires 7+ years of relevant experience in complex and competitive industries, preferably in large corporations.Experience in procurement management on a regulated, manufacturing plant.Knowledge of GMP.SAP experience is mandatory.3+ years managing team members.Experience in leading others in project context.Possess solid knowledge of procurement management principles and practices.Fluency in English is a requirement.Equal Opportunity EmployerHovione is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer.Inclusion and diversity are key to us.At Hovione, differences are valued, and everyone is treated with fairness and respect.All team members worldwide are supported and respected to achieve their full potential regardless of age, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation or ethnicity.Notice to Agencies and Search Firms RepresentativesHovione does not accept unsolicited résumes from agencies or search firms for this job posting.Any resumes submitted to Hovione by a third-party agency or search firm without a valid written and signed search agreement will become the sole property of Hovione.No fees will be paid if a candidate is hired for this position as a result of an unsolicited referral.Thank you for your understanding.#J-*****-Ljbffr
