Background:Mezzino Student Living is a privately-owned student accommodation provider with many properties under management across the Ireland and the UK.During the academic year our accommodation will be occupied by students attending various nearby Colleges and Universities.Over the Summer months our accommodation will operate as a quality hospitality business providing overnight accommodation for holiday makers, leisure guests, long stay student residents, attendees at University conferences and tour groups.Cúirt na Coiribe is currently recruiting a part-time Facilities & Maintenance Assistant for our complex.Main Responsibilities:Reporting directly to the Property Manager and Facilities Manager, the Facilities Assistant will be responsible for the general day to day upkeep of the complex.Duties will include:Taking responsibility for ensuring that the complex is exceptionally well-maintained and well-presented at all timesCarry out daily cleaning of apartment block hallways, lifts & complex communal areasComplete both planned and reactive maintenance tasks as requiredCarry out weekly & monthly testing of building safety systems as instructedAssist in management of linen deliveries and stores as requiredEnsure that the bin stores are tidy and that the bins are rotated regularlyEnsure that a safe and secure environment for residents, staff and visitors is maintainedEnsure that all customer queries and complaints are dealt with in a professional and efficient mannerCover reception queries in the evenings / weekends as requiredThe ideal candidate will have:.A strong work ethic and be flexible in the role· At least 1 years' previous experience in a similar role· Previous experience of working in a standards-driven environment.· Intermediate MS Office skills to include Word and Excel.· Excellent communication and customer service skills..· Basic knowledge of maintenance trade would be essential.Job Types: Part-time, ContractPay: €***** per hourBenefits:On-site gymOn-site parkingWork Location: In personApplication deadline: 30/08/2025Expected start date: 01/09/2025
