DescriptionRepresent the team in all stages of the project life cycle, consistently achieving high-quality results and keeping activities on track to major landmarks.Drive solution design process with technical teams, building lasting relationships, guaranteeing automation of EDI communication and settlement is maintained, or improved where possible.Communicate product construct options/decisions, and project issues to all needed parties.Co-ordinate and lead the team's involvement in project stages, as needed, from UAT to launch, ensuring the team and our insurance partners are prepared for system and process changes, including training plans for knowledge transfer to the wider team.Use expert analytical skills to investigate impact of system issues or project gaps, following through to resolution and identification of any manual settlement needed with insurance partners.Have an insatiable curiosity to become a SME in our systems and processes in order to drive efficiency, accuracy and simplicity in both your approach to projects but also in assisting the operations side of the team resolve complex issues.Analye complex issues/challenges and identify practical solutions, including process changes, reporting, robotics, and system enhancements.Execute insurance settlement for both systemised and manually managed programs for Premium, Claims and Reinsurance, incl.
performing key activities needed to enable a more seemless end-to-end systemised settlement, UAT, EDI errors etc.Mentor and lead other members of the Insurance Settlement team.Maintain excellent relationships with key internal and external business partners through regular, open communications.
Minimum Qualifications10+ years experience in Finance or Operations within a high performance organisation, with at least 3 years in a project lead role.Advanced excel and a knowledge of SAP and Tableau is essential.Strong quantitative and decision-making skills with ability to synthesize and distill large amounts of data into action plans.Analytical orientation and strong executional track record.Strong, mature presence to ensure effective communication, collaboration and partnership with senior management and project participants from all areas, BPR, IS&T, GBS, ACBD.Preferred QualificationsExperience of successfully engineering/optimising business processes.Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with strong networking ability.ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or equivalent, an advantage.Experience with advanced SQL techniques, including query optimization and working with large datasets, is highly desirable.At Apple, we're not all the same.
