The Cliffs of Moher Experience is recruiting for Seasonal Customer Service Agents full-time, part-time, temporary and permanent. Under the guidance and supervision of the Operations Manager the Customer Service Agent, will assist in all activities, throughout the site and coastal walk-through hands-on actions, during day-to-day operations at the Cliffs of Moher Experience. This includes off site service delivery which includes the Park n Ride facilities. This Job Description details the day to day established activities of the Customer Services Agent and is non-exhaustive. Main Duties and Responsibilities Process admissions to the Cliffs of Moher, handle cash, credit card transactions, vouchers, issue receipts and all other types of transactions. Ensure compliance with all company procedures and controls including accurate cash handling. Operate the switchboard and direct all incoming calls within the organisation including to tenant companies and Ennistymon office. Be knowledgeable about local events, amenities, and tourist attractions in the County and to promote these accordingly. Act as an usher both inside and outside the building. Maintain and keep work areas clean and tidy including the cliff edge and maintain equipment associated with the role and report any defect or damaged equipment to Management. Provide excellent customer service to all customers internal and external of the Cliffs of Moher. Follow all Health and Safety procedures and regulations as per Health & Safety Statement. Maintain clean grounds and car park at all times through litter picking, emptying bins, sweeping etc. Assist with Health and Safety precautions for visitors as per Health & Safety Statement and perform any First Aid where and when required. Carry out cleaning duties. Attend to coaches on site and proactively work in car park support. Flexibility of working hours is necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role and you may be required to work outside of the opening and closing times of the visitor centre during times that they you do not normally work to provide specific and special luxury tour packages to visitors, filming and special events etc. Work proactively in the car park support position, directing traffic and supporting visitors. Staff OBriens Tower including, collecting payment, issuing tickets, cash reconciliation at end of the day and dispensing visitor information. To perform any other reasonable duties as directed by management. Requirements/Essential Skills and Attributes Fluency in the English language Ability to deliver high level customer service Experience in cash handling Excellent customer focus & experience in a direct customer facing environment Flexibility and a strong problem-solving approach to issues PC literate and good keyboard skills ASIST trained Proven ability to work under pressure and as part of a team. Experience in the tourism sector or in a customer facing role A flexible, positive and customer-oriented approach. Desirable Experience Experience working at the Cliffs of Moher or similar Tourist Attraction Familiarity with any or all of the following would be an advantage: Admission and Booking system Microsoft Office Suite First Aid Training in customer service skills Fluency in European and other languages would be an advantage. Digital Media Additional Information The post will be operational on seven days a week basis according to a monthly roster published in advance with extended hours at certain times according to seasonal and business requirements. Hours of operation will vary seasonally. The duties will primarily be performed onsite at the Cliffs of Moher Experience, the Cliffs of Moher offices, Ennistymon, Co. Clare, or any other reasonable place of business as designated by Management. This would include off site service delivery which includes the Park n Ride facilities, with staff flexibility to be maintained and employees place of work and duration of work may vary due to the nature of the business as set out in the organisations on the collective pay agreement.
