General Ledger Accountant

This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified accountant or experienced finance professional to join a collaborative team and gain exposure to international accounting, financial reporting, and commercial finance.
Duties: Prepare monthly management accounts, trial balances, and profit & loss analysis Manage general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close Handle payroll accounting, VAT, corporation tax, and other statutory filings Support KPI reporting, budgeting, and financial statement preparation Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, commercial, and operations Ensure compliance with SOX, internal controls, and audit requirements Drive process improvements and contribute to finance transformation projects Liaise with international finance teams across EMEA Skills Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) Minimum 2-3 years' experience in GL accounting, financial reporting, or commercial finance Fluency in Italian and English (essential) Strong Excel and ERP systems experience (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, etc.) Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Why Apply?
