Job Opportunity: We are seeking a qualified and skilled individual to fill the role of Financial Accountant.

Job Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this office-based position is responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, managing ledger activities, and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and reporting standards, while providing analysis and insight to support business decisions.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts in line with accounting and legal standards, ensuring accuracy and supporting documentation in place.
  • Manage the general ledger and ensure all entries are accurate and timely.
  • Complete month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Support statutory audits by preparing audit files and liaising with external auditors.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA). Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and interact with people at all levels across the organization. Ability to work as part of a team and develop team members.

  • Technically competent with the ability to interpret the implications of standards to practical situations.
  • Strong internal control & system understanding with a problem-solving mentality.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a focus on detail and bringing structure and logic to problem solving.
  • Excellent project management skills with commitment to meeting deadlines.
