Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing company based in Galway, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their expanding team.
Due to significant growth over the past 12 monthsincluding new project wins and an expanding client baseour client is now strengthening their finance function to support this growth.
Suited to a Newly Qualified Accountant or Bookkeeper with industry experience.
Role Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (e.g.
Quick Books) Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash Prepare and submit RCT (Relevant Contracts Tax) returns Assist with VAT returns and Revenue compliance Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries Manage subcontractor payments and ensure accurate record keeping Support payroll processing (liaising with external provider if applicable) Assist external accountants/auditors with year-end preparation Generate periodic financial reports for management review Support ad hoc financial tasks and administration as needed Role Requirements: 3+ years experience in a similar bookkeeping role A relevant accounting qualification is advantageous Preference for strong working knowledge of RCT (Relevant Contracts Tax) returns and Revenue Online System (ROS) Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.
Sage, Xero, Quick Books) Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Strong communication skills both written and verbal Interested in this opportunity?
