About The Role: We're looking for a dynamic, commercially minded and purpose-driven leader to manage a team of Financial Planners and Advisors with a clear mission: drive growth from our existing client base.
As Sales Manager, your role is to unlock the untapped potential within our existing client base by ensuring that client relationships are proactively maintained, annual reviews are consistently prioritised and opportunities for additional planning are identified and delivered.
You'll lead a high-performing team to enhance client loyalty, increase engagement and drive revenue growth.
You'll also play a strategic role in shaping our client experience, embedding a culture of relationship-building and continuous improvement.
This is a key position within the Prosperous Financial team and we're looking for someone who understands the commercial impact of retention, the long-term value of client relationships and how strategic advice delivered well can transform lives.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage and inspire a team of Financial Planners and Advisors to proactively retain and grow existing client relationships.
Collaborate closely with the Head of Financial Planning to align team goals with broader business objectives and performance metrics.
Develop and implement a structured annual review programme, ensuring every client receives consistent, proactive and personalised financial advice.
Identify opportunities within the existing client base to enhance engagement, deepen relationships and increase revenue through targeted advice and service offerings.
Drive initiatives to improve client satisfaction and retention, including feedback mechanisms and client experience enhancements.
Champion a client-first culture, ensuring that retention initiatives reflect our values of clarity, integrity and trust.
Ensure advice delivery is robust, compliant and adds value through systems such as Wealth Track and Voyant.
Support recruitment, onboarding and employee development to build a motivated, high-performance team.
Skills And Experience: Proven leader with a minimum of 3+ years' experience managing financial advice teams within the financial services sector.
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) qualification is essential.
Deep understanding of the commercial value of client retention and relationship-based growth.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach, influence and inspire high-performing teams.
Confident presenting to internal and external stakeholders including clients and senior leadership, coaching team members and collaborating across departments.
A strategic thinker with a commercial mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Problem solving and solution focused approach with the ability to quickly adapt, learn and take ownership in a dynamic environment.
Experience using financial planning tools such as Voyant and Wealth Track is an advantage.
