The position of the role of Academic Developer: Inclusive Curriculum offers an exciting opportunity to lead the design, development and implementation of Trinitys work programme for embedding inclusive teaching and learning and universal design for learning (UDL) principles and practices within Trinitys educational offerings.
The Centre for Academic Practice is a central unit within Trinity Teaching & Learning (TT&L) which is focused on advancing and enhancing excellence in teaching, learning and assessment by fostering a university-wide culture of teaching excellence grounded in scholarship, critical enquiry and collaboration.
Working closely with College Academic Officers to align academic practice to institutional, national and international priorities, the Centre leads a range of strategic teaching and learning initiatives, while embedding the broader role of teaching & learning in the institutional change agenda.

This appointment s for the specific purpose of leading the design, development, and implementation of Trinitys Universal Design for Teaching, Learning and Assessment initiative.
Employment is not offered on an indefinite duration basis, as the role is tied to these specific project activities and deliverables which are expected to be completed within a defined period.
The activities for the role are funded by the Higher Education Authority under the Path 4 Inclusive Development Fund and are therefore not part of the core funding of the University, and will cease in a finite period.
Therefore, termination of this contract will occur upon completion of the work in which the appointee is engaged, or if the funding stream is terminated or withdrawn by the funding agency.
Please note that the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977-2015, shall not apply to the appointee's dismissal if it consists solely of the cessation of the said purpose.
Hours of Post: 35 hours per week Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 1 (Points 1-3), Salary Scale ( 69,545 - 89,965 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
