The Role The firm is seeking a Senior Family Law Solicitor to take a lead role within its well-established family department.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced solicitor with a strong background in family law who is looking to take the next step in their career.

You will manage a complex caseload, supervise junior team members, and play a key role in the continued growth and development of the department.

This position is open to both full-time and part-time applicants, offering flexibility to suit individual circumstances.

Key Responsibilities Managing and advising on a wide range of family law matters including divorce, separation, financial settlements, and child-related cases Handling high-value and complex cases with minimal supervision Providing clear, strategic advice to clients while ensuring excellent client care Representing clients in negotiations and, when required, in court proceedings Supervising and mentoring junior solicitors and support staff within the department Contributing to the growth and strategic development of the family law team Requirements Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland Significant experience in family law (ideally 5+ years PQE, though candidates with strong experience at a slightly earlier stage will also be considered) Proven ability to handle complex and high-value family law cases Strong leadership and mentoring skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and client care abilities Organised, detail-focused, and commercially aware Benefits Competitive salary of £50,000 - £65,000 depending on experience Excellent annual leave entitlement Opportunity for career progression within a highly regarded firm Supportive and collaborative team culture City centre location with modern facilities Apply via the link or contact Ciaran Gallagher in confidence to discuss further.
