Direct message the job poster from Project Foundry Talent Partner | Recruitment Consultant | Key Accounts Manager | All-round half-decent bloke Project Foundry are seeking and experienced Test Manager to join our team on a 12-month, part-time contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in developing robust test plans and strategies, whilst working with a dedicated team within a public sector organisation.
Responsibilities: Define the overall test strategy, including objectives, scope, approach, and acceptance criteria for functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), and align the strategy with project timelines and quality standards.
Develop detailed test plans, specifying activities, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
Manage testing teams (including users), assigning tasks and ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources.
Maintain detailed logs of test activities, results, and defect resolutions.
Coordinate with technical teams to resolve any test environment issues.
Provide regular test status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and areas of concern.
Contribute to managing the staged cutover from legacy systems to the new platform.
Engage with project manager on project critical path and overall timelines.
Requirements:5+ years' experience in testing and test management roles.
Experience in leading/managing large teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Ambitious with an ability to work alone when needed.
Motivated, show initiative and willing to learn.
