Role: Acting as the site Electrical systems SME, develop and put in place a structured Electrical (preventative/Predictive) Maintenance Program for the Westport site, in compliance with European Electrical standards & ETCI rules & Regulations, aligned with the European Electrical standards.

To ensure the site electrical infrastructure is set up on the site Maximo CMMS to be maintained according to industry's best standards.

Job responsibilities: Identify and map all HV, MV, and LV electrical systems across the site.

Develop and maintain Auto CAD electrical and life safety system hierarchies (e.g., emergency lighting, fire alarms, gas detection), ensuring consistent labelling and PM implementation.

Update and manage electrical assets in Maximo CMMS; create and implement compliant PM job plans and SOPs aligned with European electrical standards and ETCI regulations.

Maintain and update site electrical SOPs, test equipment records, PPE maintenance schedules, and a centralised handover documentation library.

Coordinate and lead electrical shutdown/start-up events, ensuring GMP and safety compliance with minimal disruption.

Act as the SME for all electrical activities, including project reviews, handovers, change controls, and stakeholder engagement.

Ensure site electrical drawings are kept as-built; manage arc flash studies, signage, and infrastructure risk assessments.

Develop and maintain ATEX registers, PM programs, and compliance reports; oversee PPE/tool inspections and IP rating standards.

Lead or support compliance audits, including FM Global inspections.

Provide condition reports and oversee maintenance for key systems: breakers, transformers, UPS, emergency lighting, fire alarms, surge protection, power quality systems, generators, drives, etc.

Drive continuous improvement of the site's electrical infrastructure.
