Motor Claims Handler, Wexford The Opportunity An established and respected provider of claims management services is seeking an experienced Motor Claims Handler to join their growing team.
This role offers the chance to manage a varied caseload from first notification through to final settlement, while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 2 - 5 years' experience handling motor claims, looking to join a team that values professionalism, independence, and high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of motor claims from cradle to grave, ensuring timely and fair resolution.
Make early and proactive decisions on liability, indemnity, and settlement strategy.
Tailor case handling to meet specific client expectations and service levels.
Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including solicitors, repairers, and insurers.
Work closely with team members to ensure a cohesive and collaborative working environment.
Ensure strict compliance with CPC, DPA, and all relevant legal/regulatory obligations.
Accurately record all interactions and case developments in internal systems.
Proactively manage complex and high-value claims where appropriate.
Requirements APA or CIP qualified (APA not sufficient for this role).
2 - 5 years' experience in handling motor claims, ideally in a cradle-to-grave capacity.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complexity independently.
Excellent negotiation skills and experience in claim settlements.
Knowledge of the changing insurance and legal landscape relevant to motor claims.
Commitment to meeting client expectations and delivering high service standards.
Clear and confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a busy portfolio.
