Sales Account Manager / Plastic Packaging Our client is a global flexible packaging company seeking a Sales Account Manager with a territory of all Ireland.

Salary guide: €50 K - €55 K plus bonus and car.

The Role: Manage a portfolio of accounts developing positive relationship with clients Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to clients in a timely manner To maintain regular contact with specific customers in within the UK and European regions and troubleshoot in areas if required Provide marketing/sales/product information to existing/potential customers via the telephone, computer, post or in person To provide an important link between the sales and technical teams and to have a good understanding of the production processes for all relevant accounts.

Identify and target business development opportunities in both home and export markets.

Visit existing/potential customers to make presentations to maintain, enhance or gain business Negotiate new price structures for both new and existing customers Work with the Sales Director to forecast customers anticipated spend for the year and produce budgeting information Investigate/analyse shortfalls in individual customer expenditure Liaise closely with Internal Sales Manager and internal sales coordinators team to ensure customer deadlines/requirements are met Produce all internal documentation and reports as required by the Sales Director from time to time Work as part of team, supporting colleagues and sharing information.

To undertake all Hygiene, Quality and Environmental responsibilities to ensure that company standards are met and surpassed To introduce and maintain safe working systems to ensure personnel are kept free from injury and operations are safe and efficient To work within government and company Equal Opportunities Policy and practices and report any deviations Work in accordance with all company environmental management requirements, taking reasonable care for the protection of the environment through your own acts/omissions and report any opportunities for improving environmental targets To work within government and Company Health & Safety policies and practices and report any deviations To be flexible in undertaking duties and responsibilities and may be asked to perform other duties with reasonably correspond to the general character of the position and are commensurate with its level of responsibility The Candidate: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred, specifically within Packaging or FMCG.

Understanding of sales performance metrics Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite Ability to transport across the UK and Europe where required Self-motivated, assertive and self-confident Willingness to work to a flexible schedule Professional written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills Commercial awareness Visibly requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image Confidentiality and discretion Skills: Plastic Packaging Packaging FMCG Sales Business Development Sales Account Management see spec Benefits: Bonus and Car
