Candidates must be RGN NMBI registered and be able to work full-time.
Experience in Occupational Health, Practice Nursing and Travel Vaccinations a distinct advantage Accountabilities Provide travel health and occupational health risk assessments and advice to clients both in the travel clinic, pharmacy or other healthcare setting and on the telephone.
Administer relevant immunizations, anti-malarial prophylaxis, occupational health medication and other medicines in line with Patient Group Directions.
Maintain accurate medical records utilizing software.
Adhere to and use company policies and procedures.
Work within guidelines to ensure smooth running of the clinic or service.
Assist with clinical audit (within the clinic) and provide clinical input to service development projects.
Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
Be a competent practitioner and maintain clinical competency and skills in line with the NMBI code of conduct Act as an advocate for the patient, customer, organization and families at all times Have an awareness of your clinics performance and proactively manage and promote profitability To demonstrate sound clinical judgement and risk based decision making at all times.
Have knowledge of and adhere to company policy and professional standards and ensure that colleagues do like Skills: Phlebotomy Vaccinations Smear Testing
