Accounts Assistant

Key Responsibilities: Processing supplier invoices, managing accounts payable, and reconciling supplier statements Assisting with month-end processes, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments Maintaining accurate financial records, including VAT returns and the Fixed Asset Register Supporting the preparation of management accounts and financial reports Conducting stock and balance sheet reconciliations Providing financial insights and analysis to support decision-making What Were Looking For: Part-qualified or qualified (IATI, CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) Current proven experience in a finance or accounts role, ideally with management accounts exposure Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting systems A proactive approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Benefits: Competitive salary with opportunities for career progression Generous holiday entitlement and the option to purchase additional leave Hybrid working To apply for this Accounts Assistant position please submit your cv via the link below or reach out to Stephen Cunningham for a confidential chat.
