With continued growth, they are now looking to hire a Technical Sales Support professional to join their Cork-based team.
The Role: This is not a heavy sales role - instead, you will be the key point of contact for all inbound enquiries, supporting prospective clients through the pre-sales process.
You will liaise with customers by phone and email, provide technical guidance, prepare designs and drawings, and ensure accurate pricing, quotes, and order processing.
Working closely with the external sales team, you will play a crucial role in educating customers on the best solutions for their needs and ensuring a seamless sales journey.
Key responsibilities include: Handling all inbound customer enquiries via phone and email Providing technical advice and product guidance Producing designs and technical drawings for customer projects Preparing quotes, managing pricing, and processing orders Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to ensure accurate project delivery Supporting the sales team with technical expertise during the pre-sales process The Person: Ideally coming from a hands-on mechanical or engineering background - e.g., maintenance, production, or manufacturing Experience working with process equipment such as pumps, valves, actuators, or instrumentation is highly desirable Engineering degree or relevant qualification preferred Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand machinery and processes Organised, detail-oriented, and able to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues The Package: €50,000 - €55,000 base salary €5,000 - €10,000 annual bonus 4% pension Mobile & Laptop 21 days annual leave Monday to Friday role - office based for first 6 months, hybrid option thereafter This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step away from the tools or advance their career in a technical support role within a respected and growing organisation.
