Overview Job Title: Production Administrator Reporting To: Production Manager Position type: Permanent Location: Kildare town Co.
Kildare Role Summary: Dawn Meats currently has an opportunity for a Production Administrator to join our team in Kildare.
The Production Administrator is responsible for acting as the primary liaison between the production line and the Main office, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
This role reports directly to the Production Manager and communicates regularly with the Main Office, Technical, Commercial, Financial, and Maintenance teams.
Responsibilities Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Oversee and restore QC (Quality Control) checks in collaboration with the technical team, maintaining high production standards.
Support commercial operations by validating that production plans, labels, traceability documents, and codes are accurate and prepared for each order.
Coordinate with the financial team to ensure correct costings are assigned and that all workers are allocated to the correct jobs daily.
Ensure all documentation and resources are in place for production supervisors and teams to perform their duties efficiently and without delay.
Be present on site at all times during production and ensure all documentation in designated areas is to a high standard and in place.
Liaise with the maintenance team regarding equipment repairs and replacements to minimize production downtime Serve as the main communication channel between production staff and main office management.
Monitor and enforce restoration of quality control checks, working closely with the food safety team to address any issues.
Verify that all labels, traceability documents, and product codes are correct and up-to-date in the system.
Ensure that the commercial team has accurate details for every order and that production plans are executed without error.
Work with the financial team to confirm that costs are attributed accurately to each production section.
Maintain comprehensive production documentation, enabling supervisors and production staff to operate without administrative delays.
Provide continuous on-site administrative support during all production hours.
Coordinate with maintenance to promptly address any machinery or equipment issues, ensuring smooth production flow.

The ideal Candidate will have or demonstrate: Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
Strong attention to detail in documentation, labelling, and order processing.
Experience in production administration, quality control, or a related role preferred.
Proficient with production planning systems and basic financial processes.
Ability to work collaboratively with production, technical, commercial, and financial teams.
Problem-solving skills, especially regarding production or equipment issues.
Must be available and present on-site during all periods of production activity.
