Job Description:

The Health Service Executive (HSE) is currently recruiting for Physiotherapists at Basic and Senior Grade level for permanent positions within an acute hospital setting in South Dublin.

As a Physiotherapist, you will provide a high-quality physiotherapy service for inpatients and some outpatients to promote their independence and support their return to previous physical, psychological, and social function.

The Physiotherapist will ensure patients are discharged from the hospital or transferred to other community-based services in a safe and timely manner.

Specialty Areas Include:
  • Elderly care
  • Women's health

Senior Physiotherapists will assist in service development and supervise and train junior staff.

Minimum Requirements:
  • A recognised qualification as a Physiotherapist and professional registration in your country of practice.
  • Eligible to apply for registration as a Physiotherapist with CORU, the Health & Social Care Professionals regulatory authority in Ireland.
  • Ideally a minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience as a Physiotherapist, including significant experience in an acute setting.
  • Police clearance from any country lived or worked in for 6 months or more.
  • Excellent assessment and intervention skills.
  • Participate in an on-call rota.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Flexibility in work practice.
  • Excellent verbal and written English.
  • Access to appropriate transport to fulfil the role requirements.
