Job Description

The Senior Physiotherapist will be part of the Inpatient Orthopaedic Service in Beaumont Hospital's Physiotherapy Department. The primary focus of this role is to develop pathways of care for patients transitioning from the acute hospital setting.

This position requires a high level of expertise in post-acute domiciliary care, with a significant proportion of time spent providing rehabilitation services to patients discharged home following orthopaedic interventions.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing physiotherapy services, contributing to service planning and delivery, ensuring a safe working environment, and managing risk. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for budget management, carrying a caseload of patients, attending meetings, and participating in strategic planning.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. A proven track record of clinical/academic achievement and experience in relevant areas are highly desirable.
