I have a new role for a senior platform engineer with a financial services client based in Galway. This role will be within the application/infrastructure security team, providing opportunities to gain knowledge and experience in cybersecurity.

Skills required:

  • Cloud/DevOps experience and data skills
  • Experience in automation and CI/CD pipeline implementation
  • Knowledge of application security (e.g., Pen Testing, SCA, SAST, DAST) and API protocols (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, etc.) is a plus
  • Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain security tools for CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows
  • Evaluate and leverage technologies to eliminate application vulnerabilities
  • Improve automation, test coverage, and production health
  • Collaborate with business partners to deliver effective solutions
  • Document and share processes to promote knowledge transfer
