Job Opportunity: Social Care ManagerCpl Healthcare is delighted to announce our partnership with a client dedicated to working with young people to provide high-quality care—protecting and supporting them to build resilience and recover from early life trauma. Our client aims to help young people reach their full potential and give them a brighter future.
We are accepting applications for the position of Social Care Manager. The service is based in Bandon, Co. Cork, with plans for a second house in Cork.
The Manager is responsible for the care provided to the young people in the residential service and for the staff delivering that care. The role ensures that care complies with company policies, procedures, and national regulations, maintaining a homely, clean, safe environment suitable for the young people's ages and developmental stages.
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor or MA/MSc in one of the following fields: Social Care; Applied Social Studies in Social Care; Social Work; Social Care Management; or related qualifications.
- Full, clean, manual driver's license (valid in Ireland).
- Hold a relevant management qualification.
- Experience in setting up a new home.
- Full driver's license and access to own transport.
- Knowledge of the Irish National Standards in Children's Residential Centres.
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, in a management capacity (e.g., Social Care Leader or Deputy Manager).
- Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in Social Care, working with young people.
