Overview

Location: Ballyboggan Lower, Castlebridge

Applications are invited for the position of Domestic Assistant. This is a permanent full-time role with one of Ireland's leading private nursing home operators. Training will be provided for the successful candidate. The ideal candidate will have good organisation skills and the ability to work on their own initiative. High standards of cleanliness and infection control are a priority for the home, so a keen awareness of their importance is essential.

Experience in a similar role and knowledge of HACCP is preferable however not essential.

Responsibilities
  • Daily cleaning of general areas and residents' rooms.
  • Proper use and storage of cleaning equipment and cleaning solutions.
  • Taking delivery of goods and storing them.
