This top tier leasing company is expanding their operation. They are now seeking an experienced Legal Commercial Negotiator to join their team in Dublin.

The Role:

The team is primarily responsible for leading the negotiation and project management of aircraft leasing, financing, sales and purchase transactions at contract stage. The Vice President will hold a key role within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Working in Deal Teams to structure product and transaction offerings on the full range of cross-border aviation financing transactions.
  2. Leading commercial negotiations at contract stage with airline customers, investors, financiers, manufacturers and other industry participants.
  3. Project managing our transactions to ensure we execute on time and on budget.
  4. In a key customer facing role you will be expected to build a broad commercial understanding and apply it to deepen our relationships with our customers.
  5. Co-ordinating the input of legal, tax, accounting and other professional advisors and representing the interests of our company and our shareholders in our deals.
  6. Working with our global panel of law firms to prepare and negotiate industry-leading documents ensuring smooth and timely execution.
  7. Ensuring the company understands the legal, tax and commercial environment in all jurisdictions where we do business and facilitating our ability to enter new markets.
  8. Playing a key role in implementing our risk management framework through optimal structuring, teamwork, robust documentation and attention to detail.
  9. Other responsibilities may be required from time to time, including working on internal and external corporate projects.
Qualifications and Experience
  1. You are likely to have at least 5 years post qualification experience working in a commercial environment (in legal practice or in industry).
  2. A background in the aviation finance industry (either in a professional advisory capacity or within a Lessor, Financier, OEM or other industry participant) will be a distinct advantage.
  3. Cross border and/or asset finance experience is an advantage (preferably involving aviation finance and leasing structures).
  4. Proven track record working in a fast paced, dynamic, service orientated environment.
