What We're Looking For
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing content models, architecture, maps, taxonomies, and metadata. You will work closely with both technical and client-facing business units to ensure that content is flexible, accessible, and aligned with customer needs.
What You Need To Succeed
- 5+ years experience in technical content development and delivery
- Strong strategic planning experience, including documentation development and architecture
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to empower cross-functional teams with positive outcomes
- Strategic thinker with a proven record of data-driven results thinking and approach to decision making
- Degree educated in English, Technical Writing, or Rhetoric
A Significant Advantage
- Familiarity with generative AI tools and processes and LLM solutions
- Experience with source control software (GitHub, etc.)
- Experience with clinical trials, medical authoring/editing, science writing, and FDA guidelines for technical communication
- Experience with Confluence, Jira, Aha, Agile processes and software planning tools.
What You Will Do
- Create the information architecture for our content to enable use and re-use
- Design and implement information maps and models that integrate content into the overall structure to improve semantic value and taxonomy
- Organize and create efficient taxonomies, namespaces, and search schemas
- Work with teams to identify and resolve documentation development issues
- Work with IT on system architecture to recommend modification to content workflows and operations where appropriate
- Demonstrate excellence in data-driven content design
- Seek and recommend cutting-edge tooling and processes when needed while remaining lean and cost-effective
- Support performance and customer satisfaction, adjusting team strategy and operations based on data analysis, research, and feedback
