The team works across water and wastewater networks and treatment, and supports the wider Infrastructure division across Aviation, Buildings & Places, Education, Energy and Environment. We provide engineering solutions through the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. The Dublin (Swords) office is the current opportunity location.

Your Purpose

Play a key role in the design and delivery of projects for both public and private clients; assist senior engineers to ensure effective project delivery; undertake site visits/surveys (under supervision) as required; prepare designs using modelling software; prepare drawings and reports; adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

Responsibilities

What You Can Bring
  • Mechanical Engineer (looking to get Chartered in the future)
  • Experience in water and/or wastewater treatment, storage solutions, hydraulics, water supply and wastewater collection systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and positive outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English).
  • Initiative, a flexible approach, and ability to multi-task and prioritise.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work effectively with the Microsoft suite of programmes.
  • Capability to use design programmes used by engineering professionals.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to comply with Quality Assurance Management Systems.
