Bring your skills to the mix as a Assistant Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a vital role in every aspect of water/wastewater treatment, storage, supply and collection systems on Transformational Programmes for critical IRL infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects of water and wastewater networks and treatment, within multiple challenging and engaging sectors not just within the Water sector but also supporting our wider Infrastructure Division across Aviation, Buildings & Places, Education, Energy and Environment. We continue to provide industry-leading engineering solutions right through the project lifecycle, with value added through client-side support as well as construction phases. We currently have an opportunity in our Dublin (Swords) office.
Your Purpose:
- Playing a key role in the design and delivery of projects for both public and private clients.
- Assisting senior engineers to ensure effective project delivery.
- Undertaking site visits / surveys (under supervision) as required.
- Preparation of designs to develop skills using modelling software.
- Preparation of drawings and reports.
- Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
What you can bring:
- Mechanical Engineer (looking to get Chartered in the future)
- Experience in water and/or wastewater treatment, storage solutions, hydraulics, water supply and wastewater collection systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and positive outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English).
- Initiative, a flexible approach, and ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work effectively with the Microsoft suite of programmes.
- Capability to use design programmes used by engineering professionals.
- Attention to detail and the ability to comply with Quality Assurance Management Systems.
