Overview

The primary function of the Business Solutions Specialist 2 role is to work collaboratively with the CSD Leadership and relevant stakeholders within the function, to support successful execution of CSD projects regionally, interacting with the global business and IT teams to ensure alignment as required.

Responsibilities
  • Support with identifying business stakeholders and work with IT Business systems analyst to determine information needed to gather requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with relevant business process owners to assist in the accurate evaluation and definition of project requirements, as appropriate depending on the project type and relevant stages in question.
  • Connect cross functionally where CSD system changes impact partner functions.
  • Support project related process mapping with key project stakeholders, as defined by the project scope.
  • Support process versus systems gaps, leading to a "to be" business process mapping effort.
  • Support process mapping output analysis exercise and compile the identified business requirements.
  • Support impact analysis process on requirement changes with IT BSA and communicate as relevant to project team.
  • Support completion of visual representations of conceptual solutions on all projects as required.
  • Work collaboratively with relevant parties to implement appropriate software validation steps and documentation, using appropriate and accepted tools.
  • Support change management process with business stakeholders, providing a shared understanding of the requirements and communicate any impact changes to them.
  • Create test cases where necessary and organize user testing as required to deliver new development.
  • Support system procedures for the operation of new systems, implemented as the result of a specific project.
  • Participate in relevant project meetings as necessary/appropriate.
  • Review enhancements and projects after implementation to ensure effectiveness and compliance to specifications.
  • Establish and maintain system expertise and serve as a local or regional SME for the relevant system.
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day systems issues with IT and business process owners as necessary, providing daily on-site or in-region user support.
  • Progress and close out globally approved local Change Orders (COs), Software Validations and system related Incident logs with IT as required.
  • Complete assigned tasks with the relevant teams within the identified timelines, escalate risks and issues as needed.
  • Assist with development, ongoing maintenance and execution of governance processes within CSD.
  • Ensure that the COOK brand and image is communicated in a positive and consistent manner to all customers, both external and internal.
  • Ensure that all duties are carried out in compliance with the company's Quality Management System.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role preferable, ideally within medical device / high-tech industry.
  • Engineering, IT, Business Systems Analyst or Project Management qualification would be an advantage.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with proven experience of interacting productively with individuals at different organisational levels.
  • Good business process knowledge with experience of working closely with process owners is required.
  • Business systems knowledge with proven experience of working closely with IT is required.
  • Willingness and availability to travel on company business.
