The role will involve working across 3 support functions to ensure a seamless service to stakeholders – Claims Review, Provider Queries and Claims Technical/IT Support teams.
Responsibilities- Manage Claims Review mailbox ensuring emails are responded to within 48-hour SLA.
- Ensure Data Protection Breaches are urgently reviewed, logged and escalated with 24-hour SLA.
- Oversee the review of Ex-gratia requests.
- Compile relevant reporting and provide insights on Data Protection Breaches and Ex-gratia activity to management team.
- Ensure all SOPs are up to date and adhered to.
- Compile relevant data for SARs in line with timelines outlined by Compliance Team.
- Support the Provider Queries Team in the management of queries, reconciliation requests and management information reporting and analysis.
- Support the Claims Technical Support specialist with User Acceptance Testing, IT ticket handling, Production Release and Maintenance Notifications.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
- A highly customer-focused individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player who acts as a positive role model and contributes to a great team atmosphere.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively.
- Highly motivated and proactive individual who can work on own initiative and within a team setting.
- Experience in claims processing.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Appetite for process improvement and simplification.
- APA in Private Medical Insurance.
- Fluency in English required (verbal and written).
