Overview

Senior Engineer, Product Applications – Magnetic Sensors at Analog Devices. The Custom Silicon Solutions (CSS) team develops silicon technologies enabling feature sets of today's high-end portable consumer devices. The role supports customers during design-in, develops system-level validation tests (pre-silicon FPGA and post-silicon), and contributes to documentation and reference designs.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implementation of hardware and software platforms for product validation, evaluation, and demonstration.
  • Develop reference and recommended designs to support customers through their design-in process.
  • Support internal teams and customers in the resolution of technical issues.
  • Contribute to generation of customer-facing documentation such as datasheets, specifications, and user guides.
  • Design, bench testing and debugging of electronic circuits.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Honours Degree in Electrical/Electronic, Electronic & Computer Engineering or similar
  • 3 to 5 years' industry experience in an engineering role
Essential Skills
  • Excellent analog, digital, mixed-signal and power circuit theory knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools
Desired Skills
  • Experience with Python software development
  • Knowledge of semiconductor development and validation process
  • Experience with FPGA development
