Banking and Structured Finance Solicitor (1-5 PQE)

Join a Tier 1-rated Structured Finance and Debt Capital Markets team within one of Ireland's most progressive law firms. Based in Dublin (with London secondment opportunities), this is a unique chance for a solicitor to work on high-impact deals with global clients, in a flexible and collaborative culture. While the role has a structured finance focus, candidates who wish to do a blend of structured finance and general banking work will also be supported. General finance solicitors interested in specialising are equally welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on a broad range of structured finance and debt capital markets transactions, including securitisations, CLOs, private placements, and note programmes.
  • Act for arrangers, issuers, originators, trustees, and managers across asset classes—from RMBS and CMBS to auto ABS and lending platforms.
  • Draft, negotiate and advise on key transaction documents across public and private debt issuances.
  • Collaborate with tax, regulatory and finance colleagues to deliver fully integrated cross-border solutions.
  • If desired, split your practice between structured finance and broader areas such as aviation finance, fund finance, and general banking.

Candidate Profile

  • 1–5 years' PQE as a structured finance / debt capital markets solicitor, or general finance solicitor with an interest in specialising.
  • Interest in a mix of structured finance and general banking work is welcome.
  • Experience in a large or mid-sized law firm in Ireland or London.
  • Strong drafting and deal execution skills, commercial awareness, and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative, ambitious, adaptable with a genuine interest in innovation and cross-border finance.
  • Candidates from in-house or broader finance backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
