Overview

Prosper Meath empowers adults with intellectual disabilities and autism to live full, independent, and connected lives. We are recruiting Social Care Workers to join our Day Service teams across Co. Meath. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a progressive and supportive organisation, where staff are valued, and training and development are a priority. We welcome applications from new graduates who are eligible for CORU registration.



Responsibilities
  • Support people to build independence and life skills
  • Facilitate participation in community and creative activities
  • Promote confidence, wellbeing, and meaningful relationships


You will be part of a passionate, professional, and person-centred team, committed to providing respectful, progressive, and empowering services.



Requirements
  • QQI Level 7/8 Bachelor\'s Degree in Social Care or a related field
  • Registered with CORU (or in process of registration)
  • Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word
  • Full, clean manual driving licence (essential)
  • Previous experience in disability services (desirable)
  • Knowledge of New Directions services and supports for adults with disabilities (advantageous)
