I am working with a leading investment firm who are looking to hire a Head of Investor Relations. The successful candidate will serve as the key liaison between the firm and its current and prospective investors. You will be responsible for shaping and executing the firm's capital-raising strategy, maintaining strong investor relationships, and ensuring transparent and timely communication with stakeholders. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and requires deep industry knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, and a commercial mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investor Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for existing investors, ensuring a high level of responsiveness and service. Build and nurture relationships with prospective investors globally.
  • Fundraising & Capital Strategy: Lead capital-raising initiatives across funds and strategies. Develop and execute investor targeting strategies and fundraising roadmaps.
  • Communications & Reporting: Oversee the production and delivery of investor reports, quarterly updates, and annual reviews. Prepare investor presentations and updates on portfolio performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Brand & Market Positioning: Collaborate with leadership on branding, messaging, and positioning of the firm in the investor community.
  • Internal Leadership: Work cross-functionally with the investment, finance, and other teams within the business.

Key Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, or capital markets, ideally within an investment firm.
  • Proven track record of raising capital and managing sophisticated investor relationships.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, structures, and investor expectations.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised, commercially minded, and able to work independently and strategically.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field. ACA/ACCA/MBA/CFA is a plus.
