Financial Accountant

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our growing finance team. You will be required to lead and support various areas of the finance team in relation, but not limited to:

• Month-end financial close, working closely with internal and/or external stakeholders to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
• Assisting in the preparation of the group mgmt accounts, ensuring they are completed on time
• Assisting with the statutory audit of the group, ensuring completed financial statements are prepared on time by external auditors/accountants
• Management and review of opex spend in line with budgets
• Support the finance function (AP, AR, Payroll) with sign-off/approvals weekly
• Reporting of Project P&Ls monthly
• Supporting with Financial Planning & Analysis reporting
• Support in the preparation of the cash flow forecast for the business
• Quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain an attitude of continuous improvement, seeking to improve the current status quo

• Qualified Accountant with 1-3 years' PQE experience
• Ideally would suit someone looking to make the first move into the industry (not essential)
• Strong IT Skills and proficient in the use of Excel
• Keen to take ownership of tasks and follow through to implementation
• Intellectually curious with a strong work ethic
• A motivated self-starter who can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• A strong communicator, both in writing and verbally
• Strong attention to detail

We are located in Powerscourt House, Enniskerry. This role requires a hybrid model of working a number of days (max 3) in our Powerscourt office.
