Pharmacy Healthcare Advisor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Healthcare Advisor in Allcare O'Reilly's Artane.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you providing exceptional customer service, product information, and advice to customers across all product ranges in the pharmacy. You will work closely with the Managing Pharmacist to maintain high standards of category management and merchandising within the pharmacy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and information to customers on all product ranges available in the pharmacy.
  • Maintain accurate stock control, including rotation of stock, maintaining optimal stock levels, and ensuring correct supplier details.
  • Deliver professional and efficient customer service at all times, enhancing relationships with pharmacy customers.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the pharmacy team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to assist in all areas of the pharmacy operation.
  • Develop and maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with colleagues.
  • Fulfill requests for over-the-counter medicines using WWHAM questioning, referring to the pharmacist when necessary.
  • Maintain security and handle cash and receipts correctly.
  • Ensure the pharmacy remains clean and tidy, reporting any health and safety issues promptly.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance job performance.
Traits and Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience in pharmacy, retail, or hospitality is preferred.
  • Cashier experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain discretion when addressing customer queries and treat customer/patient information confidentially.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • BASIC IT skills are an advantage.
