Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on and guest-focused professional who thrives in a high-volume restaurant environment. You will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading the front-of-house team, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience at all times

About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day running of all front-of-house operations.
Lead, train, and motivate a large team of floor staff and supervisors to deliver excellent customer service.
Ensure all service standards, health & safety regulations, and hygiene protocols are adhered to.
Assist with rotas, staff management, and floor coverage to meet business needs.
Manage guest satisfaction and resolve any issues quickly and professionally.
Oversee shift briefings and ensure smooth handovers between teams.
Maintain excellent communication with kitchen, bar, and management teams.
Drive upselling initiatives and revenue opportunities while maintaining high service quality.
Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering and stock control when required.
Deputise in the Restaurant Manager's absence.

Requirements

Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in a high-volume restaurant.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
A hands-on, lead-from-the-front approach with strong attention to detail.
Proven ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of cash handling and POS systems desirable.
A passion for hospitality and consistently delivering a great guest experience.
