The Trinity City Hotel 4* is currently recruiting for an experienced Concierge to join their Guest Relations team. We are proud to welcome guests from Ireland and around the world, all year long and provide them with the best experience. Ideal candidates will be passionate about hospitality & customer service.

Main Duties And Responsibilities
  • Provide an excellent service to our customers in the politest possible way by maintaining good hospitality standards (smile and greet guests appropriately, show interest, offer assistance and respond to guests' needs and comfort).
  • Respect the privacy of hotel guests and their personal property at all times.
  • Have a general knowledge of the hotel and the company history, meals, services available, etc.
  • Be familiar with local tourist attractions, amenities and activities and assist customers with their requirements.
  • Deal with customer complaints in a diplomatic manner and seek the assistance of Management where appropriate.
  • General upkeep of the hotel exterior and Reception / Lobby area as requested.
  • Monitor traffic in front of the hotel and manage the set down area; provide valet parking service as required.
  • Assist Receptionists with welcoming and guest check-in when required and provide cover for Receptionists during breaks.
  • Assist guests with luggage and liaise with reception and accommodation (e.g., delivering items to guest rooms).
  • Ensure entrance doors and emergency exits are secured and cleaned regularly.
  • Help with clearing front of house areas and maintaining cleanliness of rubbish, glasses, cups, plates, and cutlery.
  • Monitor exterior flowers and plants; perform maintenance as required.
  • Assist with keeping fireplaces clean and safe where applicable.
  • Exercise reasonable care for yourself, colleagues, customers and others on the premises.
The Ideal Candidate Must Have
  • A full clean driving licence
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Exceptional selling skills including upselling and cross selling
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong customer focus
  • Positive attitude to work
  • Enjoys a sense of empowerment and a desire to improve
  • Ability to work shifts
