Shop Manager – Ireland

YOUR ROLE IN THE TEAM? As the Shop Manager you set the tone for the shop, creating a fun environment which our customers love to be in, whilst driving yourself and your team to achieve shop targets. You will provide full operational support, direction and guidance to your shop, ensuring the experience for every Paddy Power customer is memorable and tailored to meet the needs of each individual customer.

Ideally, we want people who embrace technology, new betting services and ways of working, promoting our online products and services within our shops while delivering an epic customer journey. HOW WE DO IT? We stay customer-focused by building strong and lasting relationships; creating a fun environment which punters love and repeatedly come back to. You will educate and guide your team to deliver excellent customer service both face to face and over the phone, while cross-selling retail and online products and services.

Responsibilities
  • Know the business by speaking with the local community and competitors to gain local market insights
  • Lead from the front by providing clear guidance and feedback to get your team working to a high standard together
  • Set goals for you and your team and find ways to improve shop performance and reach targets
  • Be a clear communicator by encouraging colleagues to share ideas to improve processes
  • Ensure the shop complies with Social Responsibility commitments and all shop operational procedures, including cash management
  • Lead by example to maintain shop presentation standards
