As the Shop Manager, you set the tone for the shop, creating a fun environment that our customers love to be in, while driving yourself and your team to achieve shop targets. You will provide full operational support, direction, and guidance to your shop, ensuring that every Paddy Power customer has a memorable experience tailored to their needs.

We are constantly exploring new ways to adapt to Retail's evolving online presence. Ideally, we want people who embrace technology, new betting services, and innovative ways of working, combining their ability to promote online products within our shops while delivering an exceptional customer journey.

How We Do It

We seek individuals who stay customer-focused by building strong, lasting relationships and creating a fun environment that encourages repeat visits. This includes educating and guiding your team to deliver excellent face-to-face and over-the-phone customer service, while cross-selling retail and online products.

Other responsibilities include:

  1. Understanding the local market by engaging with the community and competitors to better serve customers.
  2. Leading from the front with clear guidance and feedback to ensure high team standards.
  3. Setting goals for yourself and your team, actively seeking ways to improve shop performance and meet targets.
  4. Encouraging open communication and idea-sharing among colleagues to improve efficiency.
  5. Ensuring shop compliance with social responsibility commitments and operational procedures, including cash management.
  6. Maintaining shop presentation standards by leading by example.
