Overview

Role: IT Systems & Applications Support Specialist


Company: ACCPRO (financial sector client)


Location: Dublin 12 – 4 days onsite


Salary: 50-55k


Note: Must hold a valid work visa for Ireland to be considered.



Key Responsibilities
  • Provide application support for core business systems, including issue investigation, vendor liaison, data uploads, database restores, user access, and role administration.
  • Lead and facilitate ticket review meetings, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • Manage change processes, including communication, documentation, and business sign-off.
  • Monitor systems, interfaces, and batch processes to maintain uptime and smooth operations.
  • Work closely with vendors, tracking SLA performance, escalating issues, and ensuring delivery quality.
  • Support security, compliance, and audit requirements, providing evidence and implementing improvements.
  • Maintain IT documentation, ensuring processes are accurate, up to date, and professionally presented.
  • Assist with IT and business projects, system upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide basic networking and system monitoring support as required.


Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in an IT support, systems administration, or application support role.
  • Strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Good knowledge of SQL and Office 365 administration.
  • Familiarity with incident, change, and problem management processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • AWS or other cloud platform knowledge.
  • Basic networking and system monitoring experience.


Qualifications
  • Third-level qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years in a similar role.
