Business System Analyst

The Role / Location

Savills Ireland is currently recruiting for a Business Systems Analyst within the Property Management Finance Function based in our Head Office at Molesworth Street, Dublin 2.

The responsibilities of the analyst will be to manage the day-to-day operations of Savills ERP system Yardi Voyager our fully integrated property management operations and accounting system and other supporting data processing applications Power BI, Salesforce.

The individual will work closely with finance, compliance, and the wider property management team. Engagement with local based IT team and across the region with Savills EMEA ensuring that all reporting, data management are operating to their optimum.

The analyst will be a key business partner and will be the point of contact on system related tasks, month end close, issue resolution as relate to our business processes and controls. The analyst will be responsible for ensuring proper change management is followed to comply with our ISAE 3402 audit compliance procedures.

A knowledge or background of finance, property and real estate related systems, tasks and activities is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

Key tasks and responsibilities, include the following:

Working closely with the accounting, compliance, and property teams to manage current processes within Yardi Voyager, Power BI, Salesforce, and other applications.
Data management and visualization of data with internal and client specific portals.
Monitor, assign and resolve daily tickets with business users co-ordinating with the supporting external software provider on technical issues when necessary.
Conduct periodic training for end users on current and new systems features and processes.
Work with business to gather requirements for new applications and enhancements to current systems. Document requirements in a business and functional requirements document.
Project Management, manage the end-to-end project lifecycle including design, development, and user acceptance testing through production rollout.
Actively identify gaps between current and desired end-states and deliver solutions that create efficiencies and add value.
Ensure procedures, processes and proper change controls are adhered to on all production changes and implementations.
Responsible for developing and providing audit reports to the internal controls team and external auditors as requested.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

Ideally a bachelor's degree in computer science and / or related experience working with Yardi, Power BI and Salesforce or equivalent applications.
Experience as a systems analyst or as administrator supporting ERP or Finance applications.
Ideally experience working with an integrated financial and property operational system and financial modules e.g. general ledger, accounts payables, accounts receivable, billing, procurement, lease management and reporting modules.
Experience working directly with property finance users in gathering requirements and developing solutions with knowledge of finance, accounting and property concepts.
Demonstrate a track record of systems changes, management of multiple sources of data, visualisation of data in a user format. Analysis and modelling.
Exposure to process and project management methodologies, tools, and processes.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities with competing priorities.
