Overview

Constellation Healthcare is hiring experienced Clinical/Educational/Counselling Psychologists to conduct paediatric clinical assessments as outlined in the Assessment of Need (AON) in our North Dublin Assessment Centre. At Constellation Healthcare, we offer a fresh approach to neurodiversity. We support families with multidisciplinary assessment and early intervention. Our integrated model connects assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and tools to ensure families receive the right support at the right time. We work with children and adolescents aged 218 with developmental, communication, and behavioural needs, celebrating every child's individuality and helping each child reach their full potential. From first contact to post-diagnosis supports, our multidisciplinary team provides guidance, reassurance, and clinical expertise at every step.

As a contractor, you can continue in your primary role while partnering with us. Our dedicated admin and scheduling support ensure you have the time and headspace to focus solely on your clinical work during your contracted hours.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a quality Psychology Assessment Service to the children and families allocated to you.
  • Be responsible for the provision of a high-quality psychology service in accordance with standards of professional practice at Constellation Healthcare.
  • Carry out assessments and work with other clinicians to determine outcomes and results.
  • Attend MDT meetings to discuss findings, recommendations and complete the Summary Report.
  • Lead the assessment process through MDT and Clinical Governance Feedback.
Administration Support

  • A dedicated Regional Manager to assist with daily bookings
  • Full support with kits, form preparation, and case review preparation
  • Reports reviewed by our Quality and Standards Team to support a high delivery of service
Eligibility & Qualifications
  • Have a university degree or diploma (QQI level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours in that subject.
  • Have an Irish postgraduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology
  • Or an equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health. Application for this post must include a letter of validation.
  • Demonstrate expertise in paediatric assessments, with a strong understanding of interdisciplinary collaboration and family-centred practice.
  • A minimum of 5 years satisfactory post-graduate experience in professional psychology; no more than three years spent in gaining the postgraduate qualification and at least two years of post-qualification experience as a professional psychologist.
  • Be eligible to work in Ireland.
  • Strong proficiency in writing clear, concise, and well-structured reports is essential.
