OverviewAre you an experienced Lead Mechanical HVAC Engineer with the ability to deliver client projects from initial brief to project handover?We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Lead Mechanical HVAC Engineer to join our growing team in Dublin. With excellent people skills, you have a proven ability to work in partnership at all levels. The role will focus on projects in the pharma/biopharma sector.With high levels of commitment, your responsibilities will include acting as a Lead at the initial stages of projects delivering high valued input to our cutting edge designs. We are focused on growing a sustainable business centered on our people, our clients, and trade partners.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping innovative design solutions for new projects.Interfacing with client design team/end user.Lead Technical and Safety reviews.Design of Building services engineering design – lead the preparation of AFDs, P&IDs, and equipment sizing calculations.Managing people in the execution of the project life cycle.Overseeing HVAC system BIM modelling progress by your team.Planning resources, measuring and reporting of progress of resources against agreed deliverables.Estimating resource requirements for projects through the life cycle.Delivery of agreed design scope within budget hours and schedule.QualificationsDegree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, minimum Level 8.Chartered Engineer.Minimum of 10 years in HVAC design.Significant design experience in Industrial facility systems design.Ability to work on own initiative.Good networking, interpersonal and communication skills.Good commercial and business development awareness.Keen understanding of project execution and engineering consultancy.Familiarity with cGMP cleanroom regulations and standards such as ISO 14644, ISO 14698, and EudraLex Vol 4, VDI 2083 etc.Why PM Group?As an employee-owned company, we are inclusive, committed, and driven.
