This role is based in the School of Psychology and involves coordinating postgraduate activities, providing administrative support to the School's postgraduate programmes, and contributing to the delivery of an effective service to the School's postgrad portfolio.

An Administrative Officer is required to co-ordinate Postgraduate activities within the School of Psychology. The appointee will become part of a lively and diverse School in the provision of comprehensive support for the school's postgrad programs and activities. The Postgraduate Coordinator will provide administrative support to the School's postgraduate programmes, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of processes within established policies and procedures. The postholder will be part of the professional team, contributing to the delivery of an effective service while escalating complex or non-routine issues to the School Manager or Academic Programme Manager as appropriate. Understanding of academic admin processes, policies, and external accreditation requirements are required. The post holder will lead the School's accreditation process at a Post Grad level and be responsible for all reporting on all data and metrics in relation to Post Grad activity feeding into Quality processes. The post holder will have responsibility for ensuring deliverables are being met in relation to the School's Athena Swan Silver action plan. The post holder will also manage course evaluations and feedback for the Post Grad portfolio of courses, feeding this into the School's Annual Review. This role will report to the School Manager and Academic Programmes Manager.

Post status: Permanent Contract

Hours of Post: 35 hours per week

Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 3 Salary Scale (€46,874 - €58,667 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. )
