A reputable Civil Engineering company are looking for a Site Engineer in Ireland to join their growing team. It is a permanent role, and it represents an opportunity to gain real responsibility in the management and delivery of a diverse range of Civil Engineering projects. The company operates in Ireland, Scotland, and the UK.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure that records are accurate and comply with organisational and legal requirements.

Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time.

Produce procurement schedules for the jobs and liaise with the procurement department to ensure site have adequate resources including Materials & Plant to complete their tasks.

Establish and promote best practice.

Produce site diaries, records, and allocation sheets.

Establish safe working cultures and practices.

Comply with company procedures and legal obligations.

Promote and comply with environmental compliance.

Deliver the works safely and to deadline.

Ensure work is delivered defect/snag free.

Endeavor to spot and highlight value engineering opportunities.

Ensuring the promotion of customer focus throughout the organisation.

Establish and promote EHS awareness on site.

The Skills & Experience/Education

Min. Third level qualification (or equivalent) in Construction/Civil Engineering or similar.

Min. 3-5 years site engineering based experience.

Sound knowledge of construction methods, health & safety, Environmental and legal regulations.

Fully conversant with the use of robotic total station, EDM instruments, GPS to complete accurate set out.

Self-driven and results-oriented with a positive outlook.

Experience of temporary works co-ordination a benefit.

Experience of MS project.

Valid CSCS, Manual handling.

Must be willing to travel.
