Our client is a major retailer in Ireland, and this role offers an excellent opportunity to advance your career in Health & Safety. You will manage a H&S team and report to the Health & Safety Director. This is a Fixed Term Contract position.
About the role:- Salary: €70,000 – €100,000 & Benefits Package
- Field-based role with hybrid working (2 days WFH)
- Fully Expensed Company Car Provided
- Fixed Term Contract
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental, health & safety programs to ensure compliance with all applicable government regulations and company standards and values.
- Driving effective writing, revising, and rolling out of accurate operational procedures, training materials, and EHS-related procedures.
- Coordinating and conducting internal EHS audits and inspections, ensuring actions are tracked to closure.
- Ensuring compliance with legislation and company standards regarding contractor management.
- Managing technical activities to progress projects and investigations.
- Relevant EHS Qualification.
- 3+ years experience in Health & Safety Management
- Full Clean Driving Licence
- Excellent communication skills
