Job Title: Automation Project Coordinator (12-month contract)

Location: Ballydine, Ireland

Contract: 12 months

We're seeking an experienced Automation Project Coordinator to support utilities projects on site in Ballydine. Reporting to the Associate Director for Automation, you'll coordinate between internal teams and the vendor of the utilities management platform (CMS), ensuring full SDLC delivery across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate utilities projects with site project teams, automation resources, and CMS vendor (Eurotherm).
  • Drive SDLC deliverables: URS, FDS, test protocols, implementation, validation, and project close-out.
  • Lead daily Tier meetings, manage schedules, and track deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to MSD Automation/IT standards and cGMP requirements.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the site to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
  • Provide automation guidance on system design, validation, and change control.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Automation, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience with utilities management/control systems.
  • 3+ years' pharma/medical device experience, with strong SDLC knowledge.
  • Proven project coordination/management experience; PMP/PRINCE2 a plus.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (Active Directory, SSO, virtualisation, cloud desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
